This is the part of life, when the truth really hurt's a loving heart.

Mark will always be an absolute Legend to me...
"with absolutely -- no if's, and's, or but's about it."

Secondly, because he meant so much to me as a FUNK Bassist, I will dedicate my next FUNK line of basses as a "main stay", after him.

This is my way, of keeping his name for a new generation of FUNK players.

That news really hurts... wow it's painful news indeed!

Peace and Love,

Hal-

Too bad the synthe sound of the 80's did not leave room for superb artist such as Mark Adams to continue to blossom

"And the wind cries merry..."

[And the song fades-out with Jimi's last guitar licks...]

Rest in Peace My Dear Brother!

Spent the weekend listening to the bass lines of Slave tunes. Mark was one gifted musician.

Well, as it happens I hadn't heard about Slave and Mark Adams before, but I decided to check them out and found a neat little boxset of the first five albums for a ridiculous price. Groovin' funk songs and bass lines. May he rest in peace and funk up the great gig in the sky!
