Not long now! To my eyes the hardware looks to be chromed but it really sets off the dark woods perfectly. I think you're going to be really happy with it. It's a complicated bunch of engineering that my dad does for each one. If he didn't want them all to come out so good, I'm sure it would go faster. In fact, yours did get to the very minimum acceptable level of noise reduction, but my dad has never left one at the minimum level and he doesn't want to start now. I have to say that it was worth it!
