Wow. It's so cool with everyone in the shop armed with cameras that we can collect all these amazing images of the building process. Of course, most of the pictures happen in the assembly area.

Wet glue:
assembly

Neck taking form on the big band saw:
assembly

Peghead "ears" in glue up:
assembly

Drilling out the inlays for the Laser LEDs:
assembly

And test... they work!
assembly

Top and back laminates with plates cut out and reserved:
assembly

Soon to be plates:
assembly

But first, need to resaw into veneers:
assembly

Then glue + LOTS of clamps:
assembly

Peghead shaped:
assembly

Neck getting rough shaped:
assembly

Neck to body in process:
assembly

Hey look... it's a bass!
assembly

And a little bit more shaping:
assembly

How about that classic Point:
assembly

Just remember, once the bass hits spray, there will be very few images until it's done :-)

Gianluca, as your friend, you know I have no words to describe my feelings towards this bass...
Can't wait to see it finished, in your hands!!
Now I have to find my jaw... I dropped it in here somewhere....

I love how the figuring flows into the Point - stellar!

The color is a little bright from being freshly sanded.

Really is so beautiful, you simply cannot tell by the picture. Plays wonderfully too. I had to stop playing it today so that Mary could get it boxed up in time for UPS.

Amazing. That is an incredible looking bass !! Man they are true artisans indeed over there.

How many other builders out there get to see this much of a response from customers and a constantly growing family ??
