This one sneaked right past me through most of the building, but I found it in the spray booth about a week ago: and today it's in the setup room: Still a bit of work left to do, but I think the original February delivery seems doable. Sorry I wasn't able to capture more in-process shots. |

haha... sealab's a show for easily amused people like myself. 'long time listener, first time caller' was in there somewhere. lol, it's late. but your bass is still gorgeous. take it easy, hb. austin. |

I love the wild coloration of the top! It almost reminds me of the multi-colored superb walnut. Hugh, you're a lucky individual! -Bob |

actually, they say that all the time on the art bell show, too. here's what's missing: chrome plated hardware side and fingerboard blue LEDs and thus....I'm freaking out. |

Hello Hugh, No need to freak out. The side and fingerboard LEDs are there; if you look carefully you'll see the 2 fingerboard LEDs flanking the 24th fret oval. The side ones are not visible in those shots because of the angle. Also, the squarish cavity in the back is exclusively for the led batteries, rest assured it wouldn't be there if LEDs had not been installed. The hardware is still being made, your bass just got out of spray. You can see the chrome tuners in the shot of the headstock. Now you can relax & have a good weekend. Valentino |

Oh, that's not why I'm freaking out...I know it's all there. I just meant these pictures don't show what the bass is ultimately going to become when it's all together. I'm freaking out 'cause I can't wait to get the thing. |

Thanks. Also thanks to Valentino for chiming in. I guess I could've been clearer, but I was a little, uh, dazed and confused that night...I included the extra specs for anyone who might've been interested. Mica, any additional pics would be greatly, greatly appreciated.

Got the hardware back: but sent the truss rod cover back - it sprouted a deep scratch sometime before the plating. Should have the new part back in a few days. |

sweet. here's a nit-pickety question... has the alembic logo been placed yet? I noticed on another thread these can also be chrome plated, though I believe I specified silver on my spec sheet. just curious. I'd love to see any other shots you might have, anyway. thanks. |

I think I'd prefer silver anyway...unless it looks weird. but I'm guessing it doesn't. |
