hey mica--is there room in the control cavity for EMW electronics? I know I just ordered a AE-2 kit- but i see that cavity is bigger than i thought. no big deal--but i think the EMW thing is pretty ultimate and if there is time and it fits... i'd like to go for it! I got the bass this morning! wow. i really like it. i popped in the tone filter and q switch and it sounds great! the 3 position q switch is nice-quite a variety of sounds (understatement). the neck is very comfy and it balances very very well on a strap or seated. I actually recorded a quick little tune with it. if anyone wants to hear: http://hometownsweethearts.com/mousetime%20again%20mp3.mp3 it's all bass-except the loop of course. i am very pleased! thanks mica for getting it here quickly. Hi Mica, I just purchased bumhucker's Excel. What a great Bass. I have been looking for a short scale Alembic to replace my Spoiler. I will fill out the registration to transfer the ownership. Is there something I will need beside the Serial number. And can you give some info on the electronics/ Thank you, Pabassist |
