Thanks, looking forward to the next batch of photos. I really like the process of this, from picking the woods to seeing it take shape. It's really neat.

The rubout is complete, it's in the setup room, just waiting for electronics to go in now:

The hardware is back from the plater.

James has been at a class all week, so there's a bit of stuff for him to catch up when he's back on Monday. Your bass should be on my dad's bench for the calibration by April 12.

Holy moly! That looks mean. Wow.

Thanks for the update! My birthday is April 13, so that is nice for the calibration.

I forgot we were waiting for the goldplated hardware . It's back and we've got it loaded. Now we just need the guts, and calibration:

Glockenlang? Have to look into that. I notice lots of people using the QSC stuff as a power amp and I want the stereo pre-amp. What does the 5 pin cable plug into? For cabs I've got 2 Ampeg 4x10s...

I believe the 5 pin cable plugs into your external power supply, which would then plug into the amp of your choosing.

Anyway, I love Glockenklang. They are high end German made amps/cabs. Very pure sounding - a perfect compliment for Alembics because they will let you hear exactly how the bass sounds.
