Hi Mica, I was curious as to when we would start going over the neck inlays. I know we're pretty far off on that but I would like to get a rough idea of the cost. Thanks, Olie |

You should probably talk to Susan pretty soon. She'll be in the office after about 1:00 tomorrow. Let me know if you want us to call you then. |

Any ideas on these yet? I am really interested if we're going to be able to do a crucifix inlay or will we have to do a plain cross. |

Mica, may I get someone to call me about the inlays please. I've tried calling and emailing to no avail. I’ve had a serious change of mind on the inlays. If you prefer that I call you please post here when is best and I will call you. Seems like we've hit a road block on the bass. If there has been or is a problem please let me know. Thanks, Olie |

I'll give you a call tomorrow between 10-11 our time. Did you get the photo you requested for designing the knobs? |

HI Mica, I wanted to make sure you got my email about the cross inlay and if so will my cross idea work? I'll be out of town (starting Friday) for a couple of weeks and just wanted to make sure we're on the same page on the cross. The other 2 inlays (Alpa & Omega, Dove) are perfect. Olie |

Hi Mica, I've had a change of heart on this bass. I'm thinking of making it a fretless. How much trouble would it be to change the fretboard. Thanks, OO |

It's actually easier than you think, almost anyone can do it with a hacksaw, some muriatic acid, and a regular household oven. We'll get right on it tout de suite, and don't worry, it will be no charge. |

Before we get started can you email me some pix of wood samples. I was thinking of maybe a Maple fretboard. Of course it will need to be finished. |

Per our phone conversation we've started the fret board change. I was just kidding about the method y'know - couldn't resist on April Fool's! Thanks for listening to reason about the fingerboard material. You know how mom feels about Maple fingerboards. The Macassar Ebony is going to look sweet. We'll be able to save the inlays and use them on a future project or make you some very expensive keyrings maybe. |

Macassar will look awesome. Is it possible to use the inlaid fretboard on another bass? I have a Westone Bass with the same neck dimensions that is in need of a fretjob anyway. OO |

For all the emails I got in response to this "change" idea. Yes it was indeed my version of an April Fools joke. I'd have to be crazy or on crack to scrap these inlays. OO (HMMM..... I sure hope Mica new I was kidding) |
