Here's the unusual Honduras Rosewood I was telling you about: I wish these pictures could show off how nice this wood looks. To my knowledge we haven't used this wood before, and we've had this particular piece for close to thirty years, though it was quite a few years old when we got it. There's only 6 bookmatches of it. Tell me, is the plate laid on top or is it sunk in to lay flush with the body? If it isn't sunk in could you do that for me. I think that the plate would get in the way of my attack as i'm pulling under the strings/slapping. You might have trouble seeing it in the previous picture as the cover is nearly as wide as the neck and the shadow of the fingerboard is obscuring the rounded corners at the top. mica Moderator Username: mica Post Number: 1015 Registered: 6-2000 Posted on Thursday, June 26, 2003 - 12:49 pm:    Here's the bass with the amber tint: It's next to some other straight clear finishes for reference.
