This was from yesterday while your bass was getting preset: That's when we level the fingerboard and install the frets. Then it's back to finish for the rest of the polyester clear coats. |

Have to agree 120% with Jacko! Geez, the whole bass looks and, will sound just awesome with these woods. Yet again I ask------why not Series electronics if one goes this far?? Just my 0.02$ |

Hotness. Pure hotness. Something I would LOVE to do: A/B your bass against the custom Rogue that is currently being built for me. We have the same neck recipe and the same basic electronics package. I'm really really curious how much difference the body/top woods make. I seem to recall talking to Susan really early on about that and her saying on the neck through basses the body/top woods don't make nearly as big an impact. Still do - just not as much as on a set neck or bolt on. |

Hi Mica, Thanks agian for posting these beautiful pictures. The word on the street (i.e. from Peter) is that the bass may be ready fairly soon. Do you happen to have any new pictures that show the progress? Thanks again, Fell |

Fell's already got the bass in hand, but a finished picture is always good to share for the followers of the construction process: I'm in love with the grain radiating from the treble pickup. |

That has to be one of the "busiest" pieces of coco bolo I've ever seen. You're gonna get some great comments and attention with this weapon in your arsenal. Congrats, Mike |

Hotness. I'd love to A/B that with my Rogue 5 to see if the tops make any sort of significant difference. I know with Alembics the neck woods are dominant - but I'm curious with so much similar if the top has a slight affect. Both my Alembics have Signature electronics and they do sound different with everything flat - I'm guessing that's the ebony in the neck on the 5 string. |
