Actually, that you can see much of anything is an indicator that when the finish is on, the figure will pop. That's when they'll put all those wonderful electronics in it, install the hardware, and get it ready to rock and roll. I have no idea how long that bit takes - though I wouldn't imagine terribly long. Just need to do the final inspection, photos and packing.
