Here's some mock ups of the triple pickup guy we were discussing earlier: The pink area is no-man's land - the jack takes up a huge amount of room inside and nothing can be in that area. I had to swing it around to the back to make the bowling pin arrangement for the switches. You could move it to the other side of the switch cluster and move the switch cluster closer to the neck. Controls with "a" label are for the bridge and middle pickup, "b" is for the neck pickup. Dad wants tot talk to you some about the 9/18V switch. You guys can email or talk on the phone, whichever is better. Here's the FatBoy pickup in the middle: Sorry I didn't have a non bookmatch-to-center 4-string pic handy. |

Got your fax today. Here's some revised ideas based on it: First, with the regular Rogue body shape. It's a tight fit, and the controls have to be angled a bit to allow for the front mounted jack (which also takes up alot of room behind the scenes). Here's the controls only on a preggie Rogue (Rogue II shape): I didn't bother with the pickups on this one: it's just for control layout. These aren't truly "optimmized" I'm just showing a general layout. On the Rogue II shape, the switches looked a little better spread out to me. After we nail this control layout, we'll work on the other images of various pickup arrangements you mentioned at the end of your fax. |

Here's the wood layering you requested: Look in your mailbox later this week for the quote. Was nice to talk to you today, I think we've got the roadmap for the little sister well underway. |
