I've only seen one or two pieces of Coco Bolo with such striking zig-zag patterning in the grain. It's really special.

Mica - thank you for uploading the progress photos. It's looking even better than I imagined. The zizags have come up very nicely for a very striking effect with the sealer coat now applied. Thank you. Paul

I am always amazed how the grain pops out once the finish hits it. I also think I see part of my bass on the left side in the second photo.

I really like the way the wood grain revealed itself after carving along the bottom. Wicked looking top.
