Just dial 1-800-ALEMBIC and one can be yours! Seriously, the good thing about having this bass built is that anyone who wants an Entwistle Replica (well, a near replica anyway) can have one - the templates for the body are there, the inlays, etc. Much work went into getting the body shape right (right, Oliver, Mica, Susan?), as well as the inlay font (right Mica, Oliver?). Now that it's been done, it shouldn't have to be done again, and anyone wanting something similar can order one with ease. All I can say is I can't wait to get it. Well I must seriously think about putting a sister besides Alans baby. So the V-head Spyder, exactly re-buildt, would be great. Most of the difficult research is done; only the body shape needs to be overworked for the V-head. Not nitpicking, just curious. My guess is you're probably trying to pick the best spot to drill. I talked to Mica a few days ago, and they are in the process of drilling the holes for the master volumes/selector switch/pan pot on the lower horn, making the backplates, and finally applying an amber tint to it. I'm hoping to have it soon.
