"Tell your Dad to give you bass lessons"! Thanks a lot like I don't have enough on my plate as it is. Not to mention the two girls are already discussing how to split my collection as if I've got one foot in the grave. :-)

Maybe I'll just send her to New Jersey for a summer bass camp with a certain bassist that has a penchant for black basses. LOL

That leaves a 3 week window before I go back to work being the asst. director for marching band!

Funny you mention collections after you split. Thats one of the actual things that bugs me about checking out. Who gets my stuff and will they use it with love and respect. Heck I may have to sell off some of it my self to survive! No wife or kids to help me in my dotage. Perhaps I'll have a portrait done and leave it in the attic?

That portrait thing is only going to do you any good if you'll be on your very worst behaviour.

Please check Jasper FForde's The Fourth Bear where the plot just wouldn't be the same without Dorian Gray as the second-hand car salesman.

Superb news, control layout by Mica done, (1st attempt mind you, the lady she's a good), and my initial logo will be incorporated. So now they can drill, assemble the electronics and let the blackness begin!

Danno,

Can't wait to see the completed bass! Any chance you can post a picture or two of your 7 string fretless? I've heard about it, but unfortunately, haven't seen it.

Thanks;)

Thanks!

She sure is sweet! How much does that puppy weigh? Do you have a picture of the whole bass, I'd love to see a full frontal, LOL!

Peace;)

Alas no tech to hand it to me clean and tuned. But I will tune it with my hands helped by a rack mount korg tuner BEADG down a 1/2 step. I just did a set up on my Warwick 8 and Hamer 12 to get in the groove a bit. Takes a wee bit more effort but it really changes your approach to a tune.

How funny, I never need tuners.

My ears know an "E" sound, just like my eye's know a good pair of seeing glasses.

However, tuners are good when it's too noisy to listen to tuning notes. But, I believe I am just old school, and tune up before, and after a set out loud.

1/2 step down is my favorite tuning, just sucks that the band i'm in doesn't use it :-/, but i use my ZOOM POD to tune because in bypass mode it works as a tuner, very convenient :-D
