Here's a few flavors of the thick tops for Tribute carved bodies. This one is a nice red with orange areas and contrasting dark grain: Darker than the first, with a less distinct, almost fuzzy grain pattern: Wavy! Lighter all over - you can use the sapwood or omit it: I can stop by the shop next Thursday to show you the pieces in person and we can finalize the electronics and any other details/concerns. |

It has begun. We're working up some ideas for the kelp and blue whale inlays, should have something good to share with you next week. I'll be back in your shop on the 18th with the back laminate candidates. So far we are: Tribute baritone scale, coco bolo front and back peghead veneers, middle pickup recessed enough for those fingerpickin' nails.
