I caught Scott's gig on Sunday night in Manchester, England.
He's one of my favourite guitarists and he was on fire. I also found out that night that Travis Carlton ( whom I'd never heard of before), is Larry Carton's son.

Wonderful player. Well anyone who can play bass alongside Scott has to be extremely competant.

I saw Larry Carlton and Robben Ford at the Bell Court Theater in Nashville with a friend of mine. Travis was playing with them. He's a good player, sticking in the pocket till it was his time to shine, then he let it go. I kept thinking while I was listening, Larry must really be proud to have his son sharing the stage with him, and not just because it's his father's gig, but that he has the credentials for the position.
There are alot of you tube videos of Travis with Larry and Robben, I think my fav is "Put it where you want it.

My dream is to see Scott Henderson... He is my absolute favorite guitarist, and these jackasses in Montreux Jazz festival NEVER programmed him during all the years I went to concerts (1993-2011). I neeeeeeed to see him live once, and now I live in Montevideo... Guess how much of a chance I have to see him here...!!!

Scott Henderson is a monster of a player and a nice guy to talk to.
I just wish I'd seen him with Tribal Tech.

Won't they be touring with the last "X" album, or it's already too late for your region?

The first time I caught tribal tech was in the early ninety's, they had an ad in the local guitar shop playing Biddy Mulligan's in Chicago, in the style of Eclectic Rock, Biddy's was a little dive that every garage band in Chicago came up playing so to see them playing there was incredible. It was definately an eclectic show, I don't know about the rock part, but Gary Willis was really cool to talk to=)
