Author Message mike1762 Senior Member Username: mike1762 Post Number: 846 Registered: 1-2008 Posted on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 - 8:05 am:    My band played 1 gig under the "Risky Business" moniker, but we'll be going forward as "Full Tilt". There are only about a million other bands using that name, but I defy you to Google just about any name you can come-up with and not find a band using it!!! Anyway... we're playing a "Promedy" (Comedy show followed by a Prom themed dance) on June 10... it should be a hoot. Participating in this project has been interesting. Back in the day my bands practiced nearly every day of the week that we weren't playing. As such, they were always well rehearsed and everyone was proficient on their instruments. This band is a group of 4 physicians, a nurse, and just 1 guy with a "regular" job. Trying to rehearse around our unpredictable schedules is a challenge. As such, we're just never going to be as well rehearsed as I would like. Nonetheless, I'm really enjoying it. Despite a midnight (yep... I said midnight) START time, we had a decent crowd and they seemed to enjoy it.
