Short notice, I know. My band will be playing a short set tomorrow night at Shank Hall. Full Alembic disclosure: Although I usually play one of my Alembics with this band, I think my current string situation (a choice between flat-wound or dead) will have me reaching for one of my other basses tomorrow. << Doors 8pm/music 9:00pm/21+ It is an official throwback show. R. Mutt will be digging deep into the back catalog and dusting off some oldies. And... Paul Leckie is making a special return to the kit to assure the old school vibe is on point. Don't worry, though, they plan to sprinkle some fresh nuggets throughout their set list. The rocking good times are multiplied by two with Marquette favorites, Surrender Dorothy. Bringing together members from around the country in order to rock is "Just what they do!" Finally, the spawn of famed MU percussionist, Tim Heuer... Gracie Lou is going to start the night off with her brand new show band, The Gracie Lou Revue.
