Just a heads-up to let you know that my band, Broken Angel, are playing at London's West One Four (formerly The Orange) in Kensington this Saturday 22 January. Onstage 9pm. Original melodic soul and funk, and since it's a decent-sized stage, the Alembic will be putting in an appearance.

Check out the website, www.brokenangel.co.uk, for more info, sound clips and to buy the album online. Lots of low-end action on the album, including my instrumental tribute to Stan the man on track 13.

Ah, since you seem interested, and it's not one of the songs which you can preview on the site, here's a link to download Broken Angel's tribute to SC: http://www.harambeuk.com/brokenangel/mp3s/BrokenAngelUntitled.mp3

It's not really representative of the rest of the album, since it's an instrumental and we generally do songs, but given it's bass-centricity I thought some of you guys might like to hear it.

Even compressed and mono, it's about 2.8Mb, so I don't recommend it without broadband. But if you like it, please go back to www.brokenangel.co.uk and buy a copy of the album! Or come on down to the gig on Saturday. We need all the support we can get!

Cheers,

K.
