Hi alembifriends ,

We will be playing the : 14/05 at the rock memories festival in waremme ; 15/05 bois de breux rock festival in grivegnée .........in belgium...a bit too far for most of you ? ...and we've been booked to play in a major festival in which placebo should come . In this festival , there are 2 parts , " non-professional bands ( us ) " and big pro - music stars ! Well , when the promoter told me that placebo would come , i said : "really , placebo ? great !!!"...but i never heard of them in fact...since then , i got some information and in fact they are very well known...what a lack in my music culture !...but it doesn't matter , marcus miller , stanley , waymen tisdale and many others are much more inspiring to me !

Btw , i tried to post live pics of my alembic , and me behind of course , but the size is much too big ( 770mb ) - any idea how to reduce it ?

My camera lets me change the resolution, size, etc. and make a copy as a new file (and keep the old one the way it was). I imagine photo editor software would let you do the same thing.

I trust that 770 mb isn't one picure! I had thre same trouble with my post. Here's what worked for me: If you have Microsoft Imaging in your Accessories folder, open it and go the Page menu and then Properties. From there, set the JPEG qualities both to medium, the resolution "custom" setting to 150 X 150, and see how that works. To reduce the size further, you may have to select a smaller part of the picture with the rectangle, ans then do and Edit > Cut. Now you can open a new JPG file (File > New) with the same settings, I mentioned; but then change the size to something like 4 X 2, approximating the dimensions of the image you cut. Finally, Paste the cut image into this one (Edit > Paste). Try this until the pics are all under 150 Kb. Voila!
