My 'mostly' covers band will be playing this saturday at the Crown inn in Kingskettle which is somewhere between Edinburgh and Dundee. probably of no interest to anyone outside scotland - or even inside ;-)
If I can convince Mrs J to take pictures you'll see my Rogue on her first outing.

From one Rogue owner to another, it's always good to see or hear about another Rogue keeping some DJ from making the money that real musicians should have.....

So, how did the gig go? Did you get any pics?

The Gig went really well. Considering it's such a small pub - long and thin, there must have been at least 100 punters.(including Mike Pisanek who posts on here once in a while). I guess friends and relatives made up for about 1/3rd of the audience who were very appreciative right from the get-go. We even had people up dancing - natives aswell as friends and played 4 songs in the encore. We've been asked back and even got paid !!! although the money is going into a pot to finance a new PA - vocals volume and distortion being the only criticism of the night.
I had a fantastic night and really loved playing the rogue. I had to swap a couple of times for different numbers but the rogue sounded the best.
Sadly no-one took pictures this time but we've been booked for a gig even further north this saturday so I'll make sure we get some from then.

Friday 27th will see Big Tuna playing the Harlem club in Kirkcaldy. If you're lucky enough to be in central scotland that night pop along and introduce yourself.

Hey Graeme,

Do you ever play South of Edinburgh? Kirkcaldy is just too far to contemplate.

Here are a couple of really dodgy pics from friday night. The club hold 450 and was packed. We had at least 30 folk up dancing which is what it's all about.
There's a rogue in there somewhere
Epic stuff

Nice to see (part of) Big Tuna. When will we see a better pic of that shadowy figure with the Rogue and Epic? And what was the setlist?

Should get some better pics on june 24th when Mrs J will be there. I have a certain amount of influence over her photographic endeavours ;-)
Set list is mostly rock covers from the stones through to Franz Ferdinand with just about everything in between. We throw in 4 or 5 originals aswell

We'll be playing at the Grange cricket club in Stockbridge, Edinburgh this Friday. Probably not worth the airfare from the states but if anyone's in the area come along. Hopefully might get some better pictures this time.
