Oh man I'm back in High School, and although back then the stakes were high (that blonde in the front row), this time the stakes are that much higher (rock star status)! I Like Orange is taking on some of NYC's best unsigned rock bands for a chance at: 1) Showcase for Major label & Indie label A&R 2) Main chosen band will have option to record on production deal with Vinvarg recordings. 3) Professionally produced Music Video, 4) National band status, 5) 1000 CDs, 6) CO branded merchandise 7) official CMJ showcase 8) official showcase @ SXSW 9) national promotion through OS Volume 3 CD compilation 10) music featured in Indie film 12) Photo spread & feature story on FMFB quarterly magazine & other media outlets. Here's the info, come out and cheer for the dude with the Olympic: June 15th, 8:30 pm, at Blaggards (38th b/w 5th & 6th) PS I think mp3 are up at myspace.com/ilikeorangeband. Not the greatest mix there, but you can get a rough idea of what we're all about. We put on a heck of a show; the two girls that sing are very talented and very engaging on stage. | ||
