George, it's not like you to be that far behind. Or is that your second pint?

We had a great day in Edinburgh!!
!00% great guys!!
I actually was on my 87th pint when these huge people arrived.
No timer Adriaan-----just good old Scottish hospitality. Come and sample it whenever you like.
My Mum always said that good things came in little packages!!

For us the problem with Scotland is the Lake District. As in, we spent a week there a few years ago, and we would want to repeat that before crossing the border into the bonny land of the malts.

Not that I wouldn't mind a pint of whatever it was you were having there. The inn where we were staying near Coniston had Castle Eden on tap, which I really liked. Plus the 1996 World Cup was a good excuse to hang out with the locals.

Great!
In my next life I will be a Scotsman too!
OTOH "Land of the Malts" is for me even more dangerous than Alembic Country on the West Coast.

Paul

PS: I can see you were preparing banging with those empty pints on tables while yelling "pictures-pictures" ...yes ...you forgot to bring the ladies (the guitars I mean).

I think we need to retake that first photo. My lovely wife and I will be in Edinburgh in the near future. I would rather not give specific dates on this public forum because I'm paranoid like that but anyone interested in meeting up shoot me an email for details.

The new baby was an opportunity not to be missed. The timing could have been better but it was sort of a now or never thing. My daughter has volunteered to baby sit whilst we're on your side of the the Big Pond.
