BTW. Trip: It's about darn time you joined the club. You only have one of the most unique instruments that Alembic has ever built. As well, one of the most unique stringed instruments in the world. http://alembic.com/info/fc_trip.html |

Graeme! Ah yes, I was playing my Alembic the other night and drinking McEwan's like it was going out of style. I do hope to get over there. I did a stint in Germany last month. I'm trying to build up to getting all over Europe. And Doc, it was a long time coming. Thanks for the warm welcome guys! Love to all! |

Trip, Welcome from New Zealand- Any plans for an Australia trip in your future? I'd ask for NZ, but that's asking a bit much =) Toby |

I've been to Australia before. I loved it there. I could have died and been happy. Great place. If I could find a promoter over there that was into weird solo bass stuff, I might have a shot at getting over there again. It would be nice...Maybe I should post this in the "dreaming for now" space. |

Trip, You never know....David Burgess pops in on the forums pretty regularly. You may be familiar with him? If not, he owns(I think) Green Square Music, which is an Alembic dealer in Sydney. He also does a very cool bass podcast. The more I write, the more I'm sure you're probably familiar with him.... Anyhow, I thought that if you'd like to get back down this way that perhaps David would at least know the guys you'd probably want to talk to. |
