I'm assuming the first gigs will be crappy. To me, it's gotta be that way at first. For instance, I've talked to a number of people on the "I'll rehearse once" before the gig tip. I've done stuff like that myself, and didn't really like the results -- well, I liked getting paid, of course. So perhaps this will make it more difficult to secure talent, but I want to have the group fully assembled before booking anything, and then rehearse regularly in the time before gigs begin, since the lag time is at least usually a month. I've made good progress w/ drummers, at least. But email me, and let's talk.
