I had to start a new thread since I did not post on the GIG's area for song, since we haven't been playing out!

We'll be at Cobblestone Road Saturday 6/23/07 at 9pm tomorrow. No cover, good beer and service.

The drummer had a baby, and we have not played out since Halloween 06.

Hope to see you there...we'll have the regular t-shirt and swag raffle before the third set, bring a friend make this a triumphant return to the stage :-)

We'll be out at Thirsty Fox on July 28th, quenching and slaking the thirst (it was over 100 at 2am last year) of the Crowd!

We have some new tunes to showcase, hope to see you all there. Alembic owners get free admission (heh)

Hey nice people, CROWD EFFECT is going to be at SPORTSTERS Pub in St Charles IL, corner of Randall and Rt 38.

No Cover, and this time it's over 7 hours of music as we are sharing the bill with The Last Bullet Band. LBB is a great little trio pumping out old Hendrix, SRV, Little Feat and other great jammy blues.

Crowd Effect is also debuting 2 new songs this performance, "Fields" written and sung by yours truly, and another so new it has yet to be named...but it's definitly fleshing out.

Flyer attached, thanks a ton. Oh, and I'll have Further out too playing through the Bose L1 system. Ce at Sportsters

Storm looms overhead weave clouds into sheets of rain. The suns breaks as the stage is set and the band begins to play.

True story, it was a good gig. :-)

Ok kids, we're back at our favorite stage, Cobblestone Road in West Chicago! Saturday 4/25/09. We have three new originals to showcase, and dedicating this performance to a fallen comrade Tim Matejka who recently passed of a heart attack at 40. The Song "Nothing Stays the Same" on our Myspace site is for him.

Here's the flyer and hope to see some of ya there!

Yo Happy Holidays. Last show this year, and at our favorite venue, The Cobblestone Road!

This time (as you'll see by the flyer) it's our Drummer Amy's Birthday Gig. Some of you at the Chicago gathering in May got to play with her while she sang and drummed at Bag End.

Come say hey and wish her a Happy One, and thanks much you guys.

I'll be playing Further through a customed Blues JR and feeding that through a Bose PS-1.

Roger:

Do you mean the Bose L1 PAS tower (the skinny 7 ft. tall column with the bass module)? How do you hook up your amp to it? Miked? D.I.? I recently picked up a Bose for P.A. in my rehearsal studio. I haven't tried my amp thrugh it as yet.

Bill, yes the LI Model One. They have 3 different models out now, but mine is the old first generation model. I used to plug in direct but now I mike my amp with an SM57 and use setting, uh, 27? Whatever the patch for SM57 miking a guitar amp. Those things are great in a room and outside. Next time (hopefully if we can make it happen) am going to bring the PS-1 to the gathering so I can compete with da bass playas!

Mike have a great gig, I gotta get to see you one o these days.

Keavin, That is a picture of Amy, she just bought some drums too so this will be an awesome gig. Got a little of me back there too!

Pauldo, she loved jamming with you guys too, and was awestruck with the myriad of talent that was there.
