My original band, Prima Donna, will be playing at Philadelphia's famous funk pit The Khyber on Tuesday, September 25, 2007. We are playing as part of the Girls Rock: Girls Rule tour, which features 8 female-fronted bands from all over the East Coast. I think my Series bass is the only one of the bunch that doesn't have a bunch of skateboarding and punk band stickers on it. Our website is www.primadonnamusic.com |

What's wrong with a sticker or two on an Alembic? I used to see a guy around who put a sticker on his. IIRC his name was Jerry and the sticker was a picture of a cartoon Wolf. Bill, tgo |

No, no, no: the stickers are on the P-Basses and Ibanezes that the other folks are using. I am too damn old to put one of those "Porn Star" stickers on my bass and get away with it! Good point about the Wolf sticker, though. And there's always Woody Guthrie's "This Machine Kills Fascists" sticker! |

I believe Woody wrote that on his guitar top. Pete Seeger took inspiration form Woody and writes "This Machine Surrounds Hate and Forces it to Surrender" on his banjo head. This was the inspiration for the inlay on my custom Further, appropriately named "Woody" Bill, tgo |

I once spent two days removing acrylic unicorn stickers from '78 S1 that I bought from a studio. Been about 13 years now. But I'll never forget it. It's a crime I tell you. It's at least as bad as playing an accordian. And now that we have completely hijacked this thread........... We now return you to our regularly scheduled program. |
