These guys are a NZ based Dub/Reggae band- became one of my favorites while I was living there. If you've got some free time I highly recommend them- They'll be playing a few dates in the UK starting in April. Dates/venues can be found on their website: http://www.fatfreddysdrop.com/home.php EDIT: and a few YouTube sample videos for those not familiar (Message edited by tbrannon on April 01, 2008) |

Watching this one. Nice; thanks! While watching, I realized there's no drummer; they're playing to a recorded percussion track. There also doesn't appear to be a bass player; the bass lines are either played on keyboard or are sampled as well. (Message edited by davehouck on April 02, 2008) |

They need to extend their tour to incorporate the other 3 countries in the UK. I wouldn't mind seeing them but they're not coming very far north ;-( Graeme |

Graeme, I hadn't even bothered to check the actual venues and dates (seeing as how there is a large body of water between us). It's too bad they won't be getting farther North- if you do happen to find yourself nearby have a gander- they're quite good live. Toby |
