*Thursday the 16th: Playing with singer/guitarist Sue Quigley at the Crocodile Cafe'. *Friday the 17th: The Flood- Headlining the show at Neumos on Capital Hill. Two really different gigs and both lots of fun. Good friends and good music. Ooops...make that the following weekend. :-) (Message edited by jeffbass4 on July 06, 2009) |

Jeff - Do you like coffee? A friend of mine is co-owner of this really great place.... you should stop in, ask if Bobby is there and tell him Paul from Milwaukee says hi! http://seattle.bizjournals.com/seattle/blog/2009/07/free_coffee_for_starbucks_howard_schultz.html |

Paul, Thanks for the info and yes I do love a good cup of coffee. I love places like that. I read the link and I like their sense of humor! :-) If I get to stop in I'll make sure to tell them you said hello. One of my best friends who is a drummer runs a band rehearsal facility called Groove Universe that resides in the old Ranier Brewery which is now the Tullys Coffee building right off I-5 in south Seattle. Right now Tullys occupies the bottom floor of that building and Charlie has 75 band rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors. It really smells good in there because of them roasting the beans. |
