Hey there folks!
I managed to get some pictures of my first gig with my new S1. They are a bit out of focus, but they show something.
At this gig I was playing for a very famous guitarist here in Brazil, who played with some of the most important people of our music scene. We played in a festival that happened here in Sao Paulo. Here are three shots just for fun!

I listened to some of the tunes; pretty cool! Were you playing the stuff that's on myspace?

Thanks guys!
Dave, the tunes on myspace were recorded by various studio bassists. Now, he want's me to re-write them and do a new recording for a possible new CD. I was already asked to tour with him now.
Those tunes on myspace were poorly produced... Now I will give it an Alembic sound.

What I meant to ask was if those were the tunes you played at the gig.

I found this one. It is blurred, but the effect is quite nice...

Dave, oops, my mistake!
From the ones on myspace, we played Jazzy Metally, Holly and Let Me Go. The others aren't on his page.
We did some covers of Jeff Beck (Going Down), Jimi Hendrix (Purple Haze) and Led Zeppelin (Rock and Roll) as well.

oh yeah,,, :-)

Obviously the guitarist is a wise man to want you to laydown some new tracks with that sweet as pie Buckeye!

Have you ventured into bi-amping with the 800RB?

Paul, I haven't tried any stereo setting so far. That setup you see on stage is not mine. I only took the bass and the DS-5R. The rest was provided by the organization (I asked for my usual Ampeg system, but they somehow, didn't care this time...! :-) )
I'm actually planning to try a stereo setup this weekend with Abidu, another forum member from Brazil who gently invited me to try so... I put it through an SF-2 and a F-2B that he own as well to see how they sound!
