Hey Guys I have been doing a few gigs lately. Opened up for Brian Simpson about a week ago. It was a sub gig for me but still pretty cool. For those of you who may not be familiar with Brian, he is a smooth jazz keyboardist who plays with Dave Coz and a few other Smooth Jazz acts. On the same bill was Paul "Shilts" Weimer from Down to the Bone. Anyway even though I don't play Alembic bases right now I turned a few heads when the dual Alembic F1X pre-amps were unleashed. For those who are interested I included a link to some photos. By the way I am the one playing the Lakland 5 string. Rory http://www.centralvalleymusicgroup.com/photos.html |

Keavin I can always count on you to keep it real! I also play a Conklin 7 string Bill Dickens model when I want a good workout. Anyway nice to hear that there are a few old timers left around on this site. Take care! Rory |

I prefer the terms seasoned or experienced. But we can all go prospecting together. Keep gigging no matter what your tool of choice is sir. Now back to a nap and some fiber tablets. |
