Was surfing through some good old ones on youtube, and stubled upon this video of kool and the gang. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3GwjfUFyY6M Is this an Alembic?!?! Check out 2:35 and onwards, I swear that's the cloud with the circle logo on top of the headstock.. |

I would say Yes , it's dark but you can see the bridge and tailpiece a few seconds later. |

I'd hazard a guess it's an Oasis. Though the logo is vaguely reminiscent of a Spector. |

It's not an Alembic. That headstock is a dead give away. But Kool also owned, and played Alembic basses professionaly. I'll dig up some pictures... Peace and Love, Hal- |

Check out Cooper Basses out of florida back in the 80's I saw pics of this bass with cool and the builder ..I can't remember his name though...which doesn't help much...check it out though. eddieG |
