Michael: Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! Gives me a tingle just looking at it. Like looking at my basses brother! Which SN is this one? I notice that even the mustache tailpieces seem to differ bass to bass. Is that true? |

Jeff - I like this one a LOT too. This is one that was used for the picture in the LD Heater brochure back in the day. I have had this bass for over 20 years now. I picked it up at a guitar show in Dallas, Tx. I bought it from the original owner who bought it new at that same show in Dallas! When I got it, the bass had it's original case. The case has since fallen apart. I really don't play this one out anymore. I guess it is retired. I do use it at home a lot though, especially with headphones. Michael |

Michael: Yeah. . I'm looking at the copy of that catalog page you so generously made for me. I can see it is. It is a VERY cool bass . . but then you know that! Someday we simply MUST get our "brother basses" together for a "reunion". You just *know* they hung on some rack there at Alembic side-by-side at some point in time(-; Good to hear from you again Dela217! Jeff |
