I finally got the bass last week and with help from Will Kolbe and Michael Delacerda I got the case and power supply.I am 49 and have been playing since I am 16 with a bunch of years only playing in the basement until about 5 years ago.
I have owned a lot of basses although never any of the boutique variety.
This is an amazing instrument.
Hopefully with Dave Houck's help I've got the picture thing figured out.
Phil

Mighty fine! Is that a walnut core on that bass?

Nice finish. My 76 s/n 399 laquer has begun to crack length wise aft of the bridge. Is your head stock black?

Thanks! I have lacquer cracking all over the bass, kind of like black lines.
Yes the headstock is black.
