That is VERY nice! Is that a purpleheart top and back? I just love those old finishes.

Thanks for the pics!

Hi Mike,
Welcome to the group. Nice Series 1 vintage bass. I see the bridge pickup has the Alembic script, so it was probably replaced sometime in the past, and is not the original. No matter, it's still "OEM". Hey that last picture looks weird, like the guitar flipped off the stand. Don't scare us, all our hearts skip a beat just thinking about guitar stand mishaps. Good luck with it. If you have a hard time finding a case for it (or it's too much $) I have an old series 1 case that I would sell for not too much. It's blue-on-blue. Pics are a snap away if you're interested.

Hey Michael, awesome series I. I'm actually looking for one to buy, similar to that one. I really like that case too, the neck clip and all. Very cool.

Sorry Mike,
The case has been sold.
I tried contacting you via email, but no reply.
I gave you first shot at it. Guess a vintage case is hard to come by. Relax, this club will turn up something for you, I'm sure.

keurosix, Thanks for the reply. stunned that e-mail did'nt work. So sorry that I dragged my feet. I prefer a era correct case but a new one will be fine. I'm toying with the idea of selling this piece making a case a must for a working player. I worked my case to death.

Nice case!
Same orange as mine, but I don't seem to have the neck clip?!
