That is a nice-looking series. What is the top wood on that? The fretboard looks red. Is it Vermillion? Very cool and unique bass!

Thanks, good eyes! Red...Yes the fretboard is Vermillion (great sounding too!!). The top wood is a splendid piece of California Walnut. The engineer at this studio was intrigued by the way the bass looked and then was astonished by the ease in which we got a fantastic tone.

correction****** oops.....the fretboard is Paduk,not vermillion, just thought i would set record straight.

Hey Oggy,

Vermillion is another name for Padauk, so you're both right (you and your alter-ego).
