I would guess schedua for the top wood. I don't know about the fingerboard, maybe rosewood? Nice bass! Edit: Acacia fingerboard? Mike (Message edited by 3rd_ray on December 09, 2008) |

Is that flamed Koa for the top with a Rosewood fingerboard? You can ask Mica to use the serial # to perform a search to find out. Can we get more pics? |

Mike's guess of Acacia might be it. The last pic of 77-696 in the thread he referenced looks similar and the years are the same. I keep thinking Purpleheart, but my poor memory can't recall a Purpleheart fingerboard from that period. |
