2001 Godin Artisan - 1976 Alembic Series I (SN#:76-484) - The 2009 Alembic Toma_Hawk_01 (being built) - 1986 De-Fretted O'Hagan. Sure, my guitar family is dis-functional but I still love every one. I am still currently designing another Alembic Guitar, "A Woman Called Devon..." That's the whole name... "A Woman Called Devon..." and this will be my last custom in life... so it will have the works... (Stay Tuned...) (Message edited by hendixclarke on July 16, 2009) |

Basses and Motorcycle... Man, I love this Album! It was one of the last great Albums before Stanley went POP. Stanley's Bass solo on (Rocks Pebbles Sand) bass harmonics sounded like a HUMPBACK WHALE MAKING LOVE! Got-Damn, I love his bass harmonics on that cut. http://video.google.com/videosearch?source=ig&hl=en&rlz=1G1GGLQ_ENUS333&=&q=rock%20pebbles%20sand&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wv#source=ig&hl=en&rlz=1G1GGLQ_ENUS333&=&q=rock+pebbles+sand&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wv&start=30 (Message edited by hendixclarke on July 18, 2009) |

Bootsy was the fist Cat I ever seen in Funk, take the lead as a basses. Also, the bass you see him holding in his lap, it was called "The Space Bass" and there was nothing like of it's kind. The Space Bass would become Bootsy's trade mark. I once read, when he took this picture, the bass was not yet functional... for it took longer than he expected, but he felt it was important to reveal his dream bass to the people. Yeah, another motorcycle "Chopper" and bass moment.
