Was wondering if Alembic has ever made an instrument with this wood for a top. I recently got some that I'm turning (literally) into Magic Wands, and it's gorgeous wood. --J |

It could be really nice: "(Brosimum Rubescens- Central & South America) Also known as Satine and Cardinal Wood for its strawberry red to crimson red coloring" some links: http://www.cocoboloinc.com/blood.html http://www.pixoticapicks.com/wood.html but the sound ? |

From what I can find, cardinal wood is the same as blood wood. And the Bloodwood guitar in the custom vault may be the most stunning Alembic ever, IMHO. |
